<image:title>All that matters - all that matters ($20.00)</image:title>
<image:caption>ALL THAT MATTERS (2020) was originally a gift to my wife so we would have something attainable to play together. While writing this somewhat pop-like ballad in three, I kept hearing a certain set of lyrics playing in my head at the end of a phrase stating, “all that matters, is the journey with you.” While there are no actual lyrics written, I still define this piece as a “love song” of sorts. Life is a journey, and as long as we have each other, that is all that matters.</image:caption>

<image:title>Makin' the rounds - Makin’ the rounds ($40.00)</image:title>
<image:caption>MAKIN’ THE ROUNDS (2019) is a book of eight solos written for the beginner tenor player. The solos range from easy to moderate. The book begins to look at several techniques and playing practices (ex. scrapes, crossovers, etc.) used in tenor drumming, all while having fun! While some solos are written for quads, and others are written for quints, the performer can adapt to whatever drums and equipment they have available. -Tree Climbing is a solo based off of a melody from Sergei Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf.” In the story, the melody represents a mischievous cat, who I envision climbing a tree. Towards the end of the piece, we hear the cat become cool and laid-back when the rhythms switch to a swing feel. -Columbia Pike was the name of the street my first Washington D.C. apartment was located. Enjoy the fun backbeats and grooves this piece has to offer in honor of the great times I had while living in the city. -Drywall is a piece that begins to explore hand to hand independence around the drums. See what melodies you can bring to life in this solo! The meaning of the title, is up to you... -Hudson’s Dish is a piece written about my newest and youngest cat, Hudson. Explore interesting new sounds and timbre changes, much like Hudson, exploring the world for the first time. -32 is a title based on a 3-2 clave pattern. A mounted cowbell states the initial pattern, which will then be heard throughout the piece around the drums. Let this Latin groove shine! -Band bus waltz is exactly what you think it is: a waltz. The performer will begin to experience interesting new challenges with tricky flam passages, and crossovers sprinkled throughout. -Shenandoah crossing was the first solo written of this collection of solos, and was named after one of my favorite places in Virginia, Shenandoah National Park. -Emerson’s fury is written about my first cat, Emerson. I wanted the solo to be a complete reflection of his complex personality. In this third and final solo about cats (for now) the performer will experience a plethora of time signature, meter, and tempo changes that will be sure to make your head spin! The dynamic contrast throughout is meant to represent Emerson’s periodic hot and cold temper.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Overcome - Overcome ($30.00)</image:title>
<image:caption>OVERCOME (2020) was written in an attempt to encapsulate the feelings of victory. No matter the degree of success, this feeling is something that we have all experienced. I wanted the sounds of determination, resilience, and most importantly, joy to be prominently featured. From dancing melodies, to dark and shadowy moments of uncertainty, the common theme throughout is the strong desire to overcome. This duet is sparsely orchestrated in order to create a more intimate experience with the audience. While the marimba part is prominently featured, the percussion accompanies and assists in taking listeners through a relatable journey with unique tones and timbres. <image:title>As It Was in the Summer - As it was in the summer ($18.00)</image:title>
<image:caption>AS IT WAS IN THE SUMMER (2020) was written for my wedding in the summer of 2019. Because this piece was to be played as my wife-to-be walked down the aisle, I wanted to make sure the music embodied our relationship, love, and life together. After our wedding, neither one of us wanted to forget the amazing feelings we experienced that beautiful summer day. My hope for this composition is that the joy we felt that day would be encapsulated, and lived out every moment of our lives as it was in the summer.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About - About me:</image:title>
<image:caption>Hello! My name is Tim Perry. I am a videographer based in the Maryland, Virginia, and D.C. area. I strive to bring cinematic quality and excellence to any moment I capture. Whether I am shooting a wedding, music video, interview, or any other content, I want to tell your story! Ever since I was a young boy, I’ve always had a love for video and story telling. From making “rad” skateboarding videos as a fifth grader to shooting full weddings in the present day, one thing remains the same: the passion. My love and passion of this field developed from countless hours spent cultivating my creativity, and pursuing how to effectively tell a story. To this day, my passion continues to grow with every minute spent with a camera, client, or in the editing room. When not working on videography, you’ll likely find me playing music. I am an active-duty military musician and am proud to serve! I love drums, hiking, high-quality audio, and cinema. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope we get to talk soon!</image:caption>

<image:title>Interesting - Interesting for Solo snare drum and cowbell ($18.00)</image:title>
<image:caption>INTERESTING FOR SOLO SNARE DRUM AND COWBELL (2015) is a piece with no significant meaning. It is simply a four-movement solo work for snare drum and two cowbells. Fast and Persistent earns its title from the constant and driving pulse heard throughout in varied tempos and meters. Fast and Fresh is swung and groovy. A certain rhythmic motive, which occurs in most of my snare drum solos, is heard at the beginning and end of the movement. Fast and Quick is rather short in duration. Faster is meant to be played faster with higher note density.</image:caption>
